I was given the opportunity to build this amazing countertop out of slabs cut from a 160 year old Live Oak tree from PA.
.
The tree sat on our clients grandfathers working dairy farm where they would picnic and admire throughout the years.
.
When their grandfather passed in 1995 at the ripe age of 95, each of five grandchildren were given slabs cut from the tree.
.
Our clients entrusted us to build this piece for their home in #Fraser #Colorado just north of #Winterpark .
.
All of us are extremely pleased with the results! Thank you so much for making me a part of this story! Your family and home are truly one of a kind and I am humbled by the experience!

So…. I’m somewhat of a perfectionist and opening this space in #parker #colorado has been a challenge to put it lightly.
.
Right now I’m working on getting the storefront sign up and continuing to build inventory. Eventually I will fill the showroom with not only #liveedgeslabs and #mantles but also spec projects like #diningtables you can come in and take home with you!
.
To give you an idea, I have space in the showroom for probably around 200 slabs at any time and in process/storage I have probably somewhere around 1500-2000 slabs right now. So there is definitely enough inventory to get this moving!!
.
Staffing has been an issue… My Woodshop is about 25 miles from the showroom and well, I’m having a hard time being in two places at once…
.
Having said that, this place is going to be AMAZING and I can’t wait to finally open the doors!!! I’m hoping for an opening date during the first week of January 🤞🙏
.
